Danish Butter Cookies

Chef Ryan treated us with a GREAT Holiday Cookie recipe!  We all LOVED it!  This recipe calls for SPROUTED GRAIN flour – want to know more about WHY to use these flours? click here. 

3 cups Sprouted Flour (any kind from “To Your Health” brand)

1 1/2 cups Maple Sugar or Palm Sugar

2 sticks Straus European Style Butter

3 Redmond Heritage Farm Egg Yolks

Pinch of RealSalt

1/2 cup Raw Milk

1. Mix dry ingredients together.

2.  Mix egg yolks into softened (not hot) butter, then cut into the flour mixture until mealy texture.

3.  Carefully toss milk into mixture until a dough is formed.

4.  Roll out and cut or use a biscuit press and bake at 350 degrees until golden – about 8 minutes.
